Havelin's Farm

Havelin's Farm

Henry Lamb stayed at Havelin’s Farm, near Stourpaine in Dorset, in 1920 and several subsequent summers; Gilbert Spencer stayed in nearby Durweston, painting landscapes. Exhibited at the Goupil Gallery Salon in 1924 (193), this painting is untraced, but may be the painting now known as Horse Grazing in Stourpaine (1924, private collection).
