Noted in a handwritten list in the Gilbert Spencer archive (Arts University Bournemouth) as painted in 1920, but incorrectly dated as 1924 when reproduced in the Fleuron Press. It was exhibited at Spencer’s first solo show at the Goupil Gallery in 1923.
