Portrait of Mabel Nash (alt. title: Girl with a Hat)

Drawn while Spencer was lodging with Tom and Mabel Nash in Caversham, near Reading. During this time, Spencer and Mabel had an affair, which resulted in the birth of a son, Peter, and the end of the Nash's marriage.
