Farm at Great Milton


Great Milton is close to Garsington, Oxfordshire, where Spencer stayed from c. 1923-6. He was given right of entry to Garsington Manor, home of Sir Philip and Lady Ottoline Morrell, who nurtured a circle of artists, musicians and writers. Spencer painted many agricultural scenes in and around Garsington.
