
Mill Pond, Durweston (alt. title: Mill Pool, Durweston)
This richly tonal landscape was painted during one of Spencer's seasonal painting trips to the villages of Stourpaine and Durweston in Dorset. His village landscape, Durweston (1927, private collection), was painted on the same visit.
